Stefanie Haaks was born on 29th October 1966 in Lübeck. Since March 2019 she is CEO of Kölner Verkehrs-Betriebe AG (KVB AG), the fourth largest municipal transport company in Germany. In addition she is Managing Director of Stadtwerke Köln (SWK GmbH) since September 2019, the second largest municipal company in Germany with annual sales of 5 billion Euros. Previously Stefanie Haaks was CFO of Stuttgarter Straßenbahnen AG (SSB AG). Before that she was an commercial manager at Albtal-Verkehrsgesellschaft mbH (railway transport and railway infrastructure company), at Verkehrsbetriebe Karlsruhe GmbH (public transport company), at Karlsruher Verkehrsverbund GmbH (transport network of Karlsruhe) and at Karlsruher Eisenbahninfrastrukturgesellschaft mbH (project company for the implementation of tunnel systems). Before her work in the public transport sector, she was a tax advisor in a partnership company in Karlsruhe.
