François Vauxion

François Vauxion, innovation delegate for the energy transition of the RATP bus fleet and former Bus Purchasing Manager, graduated from the School of Mechanics and Electricity and holds a master's degree in Business Administration at Sorbonne University. François joined RATP in 1995 to work on signaling maintenance systems, then subway and RER CBTC signaling. In 2012, he joined the Infrastructure Department as a buyer of signaling systems. In 2006, he became head of the buses purchase unit. Since June 2019, he has joined the deployment program for the new RATP electric and gas bus fleet in charge of innovations (hydrogen, autonomous vehicles, connectivity and services). François is member of the UITP Bus Committee and of the JIVE hydrogen user Group.
